The Vinha Grande Tinto 2022 is a classic and intense red wine from the Douro region in Portugal, produced by the renowned Casa Ferreirinha. This wine reflects the rich tradition and quality of the region and is made from the grape varieties Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, and Tinta Barroca.
The grapes are sourced from the subregions of Cima Corgo and Douro Superior, including the Quintas do Seixo and da Leda. After harvesting, they are destemmed and gently crushed, followed by temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks with regular remontage and pigeage.
